At Cibo Pelle (Skin Food) we are dedicated to creating a line of all natural and body products to feed and nourish your skin. We believe that eating begins with your eyes and so does skin care. Most of us use body care products on a regular basis. While it is impossible to apply a figure to the absorption rate of these products, it is accurate to say that what we use on our skin is absorbed into our bodies to some degree. Why put toxins into your body on a regular basis when nature provides you with everything you need to love and care for your skin right here? We have created a series of skin care products in a variety or scents that are designed to pamper your skin and match your emotional code. It is our hope that our products will provide you with a daily dose of safe and happy.

Foot Care

Our new Foot Rescue Kit was developed with you in mind. It includes four unique products, designed to restore your feet to their original soft, smooth, happy and healthy state. This Rescue Kit includes one 4 oz. Lavender and Peppermint Foot Soak, your choice of one 4 oz. Coffee and Cinnamon Foot Scrub or one 4 oz. Rosemary and Peppermint Foot Scrub, one 2 oz. Redemption Foot Balm , and one pair of cotton socks. Every product in this kit is crafted from preservative-free, all natural and organic ingredients like shea butter, sweet almond oil, coconut oil, beeswax, sea salt, raw cane sugar, activated charcoal, coffee, dried lavender, dried peppermint and therapeutic grade essential oils. Hand Care

Do you know what one of the worst things is about winter? Dry, cracked, damaged, and painful hands. Winters can wreak havoc on your often exposed hands because the air is very cold and dry. As the air becomes colder and less humid, the skin becomes stripped of its natural moisture. When the skin dries, it begins to flake off and the natural, protective barrier is lost. If left uninterrupted, this continuous cycle can lead to chapped, inflamed, raw, and painful hands. Not only does it hurt and cause us to be self-conscious but breakages in the skin can leave us susceptible to infection.

Here at Cibo Pelle we have developed a Hand Repair Kit, designed to break this vicious cycle. Auroroa Rain Spray Lotion

This lightweight sprayable body lotion is made from all natural 92% organic ingredients. This sprayable lotion uses 100% organic Aloe Vera juice as its base. Aloe Vera is extracted from the leaves of the Aloe plant and has been used for thousands of years in many cultures for its wellness properties. It contains more than 200 nutritional substances. This juice is absorbed deep into the skin, leaving  it more elastic and firm.

 

This lotion also has generous amounts of 100% organic grape seed oil and 100% organic squaline (olive derived). Grape seed oil is very moisturizing and is easily absorbed by the skin. It will not clog pores, and is rich in vitamins D, C, and E.  Squaline is a lipid produced in humans by our sebaceous glands in large quantities while in our 20’s but declines rapidly thereafter. This body butter is made with 93% organic ingredients and is gluten free. Using 100% organic beeswax as its base, this butter is intended to form a protective barrier on the skin while also providing balance, nourishment and illumination.

 

Like honey, beeswax has natural skin enriching properties. It has the ability to attract moisture from the air, thus keeping the skin supple and hydrated.

 

This formulation is packed with nourishing omega-3 oil, non-alcoholic witch hazel for toning, aloe for soothing, and L-Carnitine for hydration.

 

When combined with skin nourishing oils, this butter has the consistency of a soft salve. It is designed to sit on the surface layers of the skin and sink in over time.

Body Polish

When cleansed properly, the largest of our bodily organs can respond as nature intended, to breath in nourishment and purify. When optimized, the skin becomes softer and more uniform in appearance with tighter pores, giving it a firmer, younger-looking glow.

 

This body polish is made from 100% organic ingredients. It is non-irradiated and GMO Free. This is a sugar based polish using honey crystals and brown sugar as its base. Honey is a natural antioxidant. It clarifies the skin and helps to open and unclog pores. Brown sugar is very gentle on the skin and is full of naturally occurring protective botanicals. Brown sugar is also a natural hydrator that absorbs moisture from the environment and draws it into the skin.
